The fruit of meekness clears out pride, arrogance and boastfulness from our system. It enables one to submit to God's will in all things. Meekness makes one approachable and opens the doors of favour. God honours the meek and resists the proud. It is good to pray for humility before prominence comes so that the lifting cannot throw us off. Meekness does not mean one becomes docile and weak. Meekness is exhibited by those who know their worth and are secure in themselves. It is a virtue that does not come easily, and few have it. Pray that God will fill you with this hidden strength as Jesus is meek and lowly.
